Just for the record, filter is a seperate utility, but it comes with elm, so
most people with access to elm have it installed. If you use some other mailer
like pine, you can still grab the elm distribution and just install filter.

You can FTP elm from:

ftp://wuarchive.wustl.edu/packages/mail/elm/

Somebody mentioned procmail. You can get it from:

ftp://ftp.informatik.rwth-aachen.de/pub/packages/procmail/procmail.tar.gz

Hope this helps.

Bill
