Dear Colleagues.

I am glad to announce the new major version 0.13.0 of the SARL agent programming language.

Three major changes are provided.
1) Transition from Java 8 to Java 17: Java 17 becomes a minimal requirement.
2)
Novel SARL Project Structure that will help SARL contributors to focus on specific modules.
3) Integration of a Goal-oriented Behavior in the SARL API from typical video game applications.

CHI 2022 Workshop: Computational Approaches for Understanding, Generating,

Computational approaches for user interfaces have been used in adapting
interfaces for different modalities, usage scenarios, and device form
factors, understanding screen semantics for accessibility, task-automation,
information extraction, and assisting interface design. Recent advances in
machine learning (ML) have drawn considerable attention across HCI and
related fields such as computer vision and natural language processing,
leading to new ML-based user interface approaches. Similarly, significant
progress has been made with more traditional optimization- and
planning-based approaches to accommodate the need for adapting UIs for
screens with different sizes,

Dear Colleagues,

I'm one of the principal investigators of a seed-funded project that combines the expertise of philosophers, psychologists and data scientists in a bid to understand (via experimental studies) how students learn logical skills, how their learning strategies evolve over time and the optimal way to acquire such skills.

We are currently in the design phase of the project and would love to get our hands on as many references to existing experimental or observational studies on logic learning, particularly propositional and first-order predicate logic. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. As always, please reply off-list to:

Abstract

This book develops an appropriate common language for truly
interdisciplinary teams involved in design. Design now has many meanings.
For some, it is the creation of value. For others, it is the conception and
creation of artefacts. For still others, it is fitting things to people.

I would like to draw your attention to a CFP for the Technology and Aging Special Collection in the SAGE Journal Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine (GGM):

Overview

For the aging population, technology is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the rapid pace of development and change can make it difficult for older adults to learn new technologies, while the world's increasing use of and dependence on smart devices and digital technologies leaves those who struggle to adapt at a distinct, isolated disadvantage. On the other hand, technologies geared specifically towards an increasing, aging population contribute to increased

It also allows you to analyze how your participants have sorted their cards, and filter by similarity or identify any statistically-significant groups of participants.
