ADVANCE CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

THE SECOND INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON HANDHELD AND UBIQUITOUS COMPUTING (HUC2K)

Hosted by Hewlett Packard Research Laboratories Europe (Bristol, UK)
25-27 September 2000

In association with The University of the West of England, Bristol, UK

OUTLINE
Ubiquitous personal, handheld and wearable technologies, coupled with
environment-based technologies, is set to transform our access to
information and computing. Artefacts in the physical world will
become computationally accessible, and our everyday environment will
become a powerful ubiquitous computing interface.

The Second International Symposium on Handheld and Ubiquitous
Computing (huc2k) will again bring together researchers and
practitioners to explore the links and synergies between personal and
environment-based technologies. The symposium programme will comprise
full and short papers, posters, workshops and tutorials and a
programme of events and international keynote speakers. The
proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag LNCS and in a
special issue of the journal Personal Technologies.

You are warmly invited to attend huc2k.
