To be fair its not the programmers complaining so much as the build
team.   unfortunatly the way they have things set up making a small
change can cause a 12 hour recompile time for the entire system.
They start every official build (nearly every day) from scratch so it
pretty much takes all night to get a load ready for the next day it
seems.  the rational compiler is VERY slow!  It never bothered me
till i moved the code to gnat.  then when i had to go back and fix a
defect in the original vads code i was amazed at how bad it was.
