I found "Conceiving Ada" an interesting movie on several levels.
(But then I like offbeat movies.)

Philosophy:
"Memory and Time: Cyber-augmentation?"
SciFi:
"Mad scientist programs communication with historical figures"
Psychology:
"Woman, 'pregnant, not crazy', creates individuals, talks to them"
Feminist:
"Victorian genius ahead of her time - alone and unappreciated"
Popular Science:
"Hardware developer myopic; programmer sees fantastic possibilities"
You Are There:
"Charles Babbage, Ada Lovelace, and the idea of the computer"
Hollywood:
"Digital feature film quick and cheap, sets exist only in computer"
People:
"John Perry Barlow better writer than actor"
