The PC often is the mainframe. It is time to shift the work load to the
computer. Humans work better in decimal. Even the least expensive PCs now
have more than enough power to work in decimal.

Parenthetically, both error correcting memory and RAID controllers are
sufficiently inexpensive, that they are cost effective for a PC server. The
use of error correcting memory has the psychological advantage of
eliminating soft memory errors as the cause of system crashes. This provides
reassurance that there is a real future for reliable software created with
Ada.

So, what is the purpose of the Ada 95 Information Systems Annex?
And why do so many businesses depend on financial calculations on
PC's running Excel programmed using VBA?
