Free Class Discussion Guide for

Leonardo's Laptop: Human Needs and the New Computing Technologies
  http://mitpress.mit.edu/leonardoslaptop

Leonardo's Laptop is being used by a growing number of courses
in which user centered design is taught. One instructor writes:
  "Chapters dealing with e-learning, e-commerce, e-health, and
e-government suggest creative ways that technology can support
humans as they seek to deal with pressing social issues...
The students overwhelmingly indicated that the book was excellent:
  readable, inspiring, and thought provoking."

The Discussion Guide, by Evan Golub, provides questions that clarify the
content of each chapter and provoke students to think of examples,
reconsider existing interfaces, and envision future technologies.
It deals with user responses, design choices, and ethical issues.

Leonardo's Laptop is the winner of IEEE's 2003 book award for
"Distinguished Literary Contribution furthering Public Understanding
of the Profession"
