This note is to announce the Information Visualization 2001 (IV2001)
workshop to be held May 23rd 2001 in Ottawa, Ontario.

The theme chosen for this conference is "Visual data exploration - Access
and Analysis". This one-day event will focus on the new technologies
necessary to meet the needs of today's information and knowledge-based
society through the medium of computing and user interfaces.
