The Fourth International Conference on Ubiquitous Computing,
UbiComp 2002, will be the premier venue for presentation of
research results in all areas relating to the design,
implementation,bapplication and evaluation of ubiquitous computing
technologies.

This year, the conference takes place in Goteborg, Sweden.
Among the highlights are 29 papers and technical notes selected
from 200 submissions; a special video session; 9 workshops
covering all areas of ubiquitous computing; a keynote by
noted science fiction author Wil McCarthy; an exhibition by
all projects in the European Union's Disappearing Computer
research program; posters, panels and much more.

WORKSHOPS ANNOUNCED

There will be nine workshops available at UbiComp 2002,
and attendance is included in the conference fee!

Workshop topics span many areas such as evaluation,
interaction, security and conceptual models for ubiquitous
computing.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN

To take advantage of the lowest registration fee, register
before August 31! Members of many organizations receive a
