Dear Colleague,

The workshop program of the ACM 2004 Conference on CSCW provides an
opportunity for in-depth exploration of emerging themes with a group of
like-minded researchers and practitioners. This year's program consists
of 11 full-day workshops that will be presented on Saturday Nov. 6, 2004
and will cover a variety of topics on:
      - representations of digital identity,
      - long-term knowledge management,
      - social networks,
      - advanced collabortive environments,
      - collaboration transparency,
      - Eclipse as a vehicle for CSCW research,
      - Studies of social practices,
      - and much more
Check out the complete program at
http://www.acm.org/cscw2004/prog_workshops.html.

Interested workshop participants need to submit a position paper to the
workshop organizers by Friday, Sept. 10. Please join in what should be a
lively and interesting set of discussions and exchanges on new and
emerging themes on technology and social practices that shape our
understanding of how people communicate, coordinate, cooperate and even
compete.

If you have any questions or comments about the workshops program,
please do not hesitate to contact us at [log in to unmask]
