MIT Press Book Signing at CHI 2003

Ben Shneiderman, author of Leonardo's Laptop: Human Needs and the New
Computing Technologies, will be signing copies of the book during this
year's CHI conference in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Signings will take place at
The MIT Press booth on Wednesday, April 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.,
and on Thursday, April 10 from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Ben Shneiderman is Professor of Computer Science and Founding Director
(1983-2000) of the Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory at the University
of Maryland, College Park. He was elected as a Fellow of the Association
for Computing Machinery (ACM) in 1997 and of the American Association for
the Advancement of Science in 2001. In 2001, Ben received SIGCHI's Lifetime
Achievement Award.
