UPA is happy to announce the publication of the second issue, volume 2, of
the Journal of Usability Studies
(http://www.upassoc.org/upa_publications/jus/).
This issue includes an editorial by Joe Dumas offering his perspective on
the history of the usability profession. In addition this issue includes two
peer-reviewed articles: one is on assessing heuristic evaluation skills, and
the second is on the usability of a visualization environment. Finally, this
issue includes a new venue for comments on articles previously published in
JUS along with the authors' reply. This issue includes a comment on "A
methodology for testing voting systems" and the authors' reply.
