Dear Colleagues,

The special issue based on expansions of the best papers from the "HCI 
Studies in MIS" minitrack at AMCIS 2003 in Tampa, FL is finally in print! 

This is the 3rd special issue sponsored by AIS SIGHCI. The three issues are:

(1). International Journal of Human-Computer Studies (IJHCS), Oct. 2003
special issue on "HCI and MIS: Shared Concerns,"
edited by Ping Zhang and Andrew Dillon,
based on "HCI Studies in MIS" minitrack at AMCIS 02, Dallas, TX,
the 1st minitrack sponsored by AIS SIGHCI

(2). Journal of Association for Information Systmes (JAIS), Jan. & March, 2004
special theme papers on "HCI in MIS,"
edited by Sirkka Jarvenpaa, Izak Benbasat, and Ping Zhang,
based on the first annual pre-ICIS workshop on HCI Research in MIS 
that was held in Barcelona, Spain, 2002

(3). Behaviour & Information Technology (BIT), May-June, 2004
special issue on "HCI Studies in MIS",
edited by  Ping Zhang, Fiona Fui-Hoon Nah, and Jenny Preece,
based on "HCI Studies in MIS" minitrack at AMCIS 03, Tampa, FL,
the 2nd minitrack at AMCIS sponsored by AIS SIGHCI

We want to thank everyone who has contributed to this special issue. The 
authors worked very hard during the entire process, revised their papers 
three times, and produced superior quality papers at the end. The 
reviewers were very supportive and constructive and played an important 
role in the entire process. These reviewers were: Susy Chan, Mark Dishaw, 
Xavier Ferre, Richard Hall, Jinwoo Kim, Barbara Klein, Na Li, Nancy 
Lightner, Paul Lowry, Thomas Stafford, Diane Strong, Barbara Wildemuth, 
Vance Wilson, Mun Yi, and Mariam Zahed. We are very grateful to BIT 
editor-in-chief Tom Stewart who showed great confidence in us, was very 
patient, provided guidance along the process, and made this special issue 
a super fast issue!
