New Library Locator Service for HCI Bibliography

The HCI Bibliography is a free-access bibliographic database
on Human-Computer Interaction. With over 23,500 records,
primarily books, journal articles and conference papers,
a common question is "Where can I get this item?"

The HCI Bibliography is pleased to add links to a new service
to help find libraries with books, journals, and proceedings.
In the search results, many record will display links to find
an item at a library. Clicking the link will open a new window
to which users will be able to supply their location to find
libraries within a desired proximity. Thousands of libraries
worldwide are covered. This new service is free, but permanent
service is not guaranteed.

Here is a search for books that might be hard to find:
        http://www.hcibib.org/gs.cgi?terms=1983&word=checked&file=books

The presentation of the links will change over the next few month,
mainly to add more library locator links for more types of items.
Note: A new window is used as the target for the link so that
users can more easily check many links in one set of results.
Set up the windows side-by-side and try clicking several links.
Drag-and-drop will not work with these links because they do
not include the referring address.

Please send comments and suggestions on this feature,
including the library locator itself, to me.
