Francois seems to suggest an assumption that users would know this
shortcut.

I would never make any such assumption about double modifiers key
functions. I'm a power mac user, and half the time forget various key
commands that need to modifiers. Particularly since these tend to be
somewhat inconsistently implemented.

At the very least, I would take Alok's advice to do your own research
rather than making assumptions.
