Call For Papers (Reminder):

 2nd International Conference on 
 Non-visual & Multimodal Visualization 
 4th July 2005
 London, UK 

Associated and co-located with International Conference on
Information Visualization and In association with British HCI Group

Paper deadline: 1st March 2005.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together top
practitioners, researchers, developers and users of non-visual
and multimodal visualization, and multisensory perception issues
of visualization.

Original papers are solicited in the area of non-visual,
multimodal and multisensory visualization. In particular
we encourage papers detailing novel devices, formal models,
applications and in-depth reviews for visualization. Example
topics include, but are not limited to:

 o Non-visual visualization 
 o Dynamic & exploratory non-visual visualization 
 o Multimodal visualization 
 o Multisensory perception for visualization 
 o Force-feedback and haptic visualization, including: 
   kinaesthetic, tactile or force-feedback devices and applications 
   temperature-based visualization
 o Sonification/Auralization, including: image sonification, 
   schematic sonification, algorithm sonification, auralization, 
   earcons, high fidelity (realistic) sound rendering in VR 
 o Visualization by smell (Olfaction) or taste (Gustation) 
 o Perception issues for multimodal visualization 
 o Multi-perception VR environments 
 o Visualization accessibility
