Usability and Design Engineer
We seek a Usability and Design engineer who is experienced in the design of
user interfaces for the Internet and MS Windows software products.
Accountabilities include:
* Work as a member of project teams, including product managers and
software engineers, to create information retrieval products for the
Internet, MS Windows and other platforms.
* Create user interface designs, prototypes and specifications across
multiple platforms.
* Design and conduct pre-design analysis using methods such as user
profiling, task analysis, interviewing, focus groups, product concept
testing, and requirements gathering and validation.
* Design and develop usability test plans, conduct usability tests,
and provide design recommendations based on test results.
Experience: Minimum B.S./B.A. in Human Factors Engineering, Human Factors
Psychology or related discipline (M.S./M.A. preferred) and 2+ years
experience. Experience in the software industry and recent Internet activity
including HTML page and site design desired. Graphics design experience a
plus.
