                            CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
14TH ANNUAL WASHINGTON ADA SYMPOSIUM (WAdaS '97)
                                McLean Hilton
                              Tysons Corner VA
                          23-24 June -- Tutorials
                          25-26 June -- Conference
Sponsored by DC SIGAda and ACM SIGAda
                           (ACM approval pending)

Once again in 1997 the Washington Ada Symposium will provide an important
forum for the exchange of practical information on the application of Ada
in today's world. We are already planning sessions on object-oriented
methods, the Ada Common Environment, the Ada Semantic Interface
Specification, Ada for distributed systems, Ada 95 experience and the
growing use of Ada in secondary and college education, as well as a set of
informative tutorials ranging from introductions to Ada 95 and object
orientation to the use of Ada for data warehousing.

We would like to invite you to contribute to our program. We are looking
for outstanding papers, panels and tutorials. We are particularly
interested in the following areas:

o Experience reports on applications of Ada 95 and object technology
o Ada for distributed systems
o Ada for real-time systems
o Ada for business information systems
o Tools that support Ada in an "open-systems" world
o Ada in secondary and college education

In addition, there is limited FREE booth space available for vendors with
Washington-area offices (or with a presence in the Washington area).

Please submit complete papers (or 2-3 page abstracts), panel proposals and
tutorial proposals BY FEBRUARY 28 to:

  <mailto: [log in to unmask]>

Electronic submission is preferred, but submissions may also be sent to:
