CHI Colleagues

I am a member of the editorial board of the NASA-sponsored Virtual
Design Center.  The VDC is running a competition for “Most Usable
Research Paper” in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, & Technology
Education.

Papers presented at the any of the following 2004 or 2005 conferences
are eligible:  Association for Educational Communication and
Technology, Computer Supported Collaborative Learning. International
Conference of the Learning Sciences, and at the American Educational
Research Association by Members of the National Consortium for
Instruction and Cognition

There are three $1500 prizes, and the deadline is July 1 2005 for
papers presented at ICLS, CSCL, or AERA, and October 31st for AECT

NASA is increasingly reaching out to the broader education community,
and this will be a good chance to bring worthwhile work to their
attention. Please consider submitting.
