I'm working on a Web application where we have users in work groups.
The problem is that there can be a lot of users and a lot of groups.
A worst case is thousands of groups and probably 10s of thousands of
users. That brings up all kinds of problems: displaying them, finding
a group or user to edit, finding a group to assign a user to, etc.

Do you have any favorite examples that I could look at, preferably
something publicly available? Or other suggestions?

I'll summarize responses.
