  The Internet of  Things 2008 conference provides  an in-depth, state-
  of-the-art view  onto the emerging  field of the Internet  of Things.
  The main program  on Thursday (27th) and Friday  (28th) features four
  distinct  keynotes  by  Dr.  Peter Zencke  (SAP),  Dr.  Bob  Iannucci
  (Nokia),  Dr.  Gerd  Wolfram  (Metro), and  Prof.  Haruhisa  Ichikawa
  (NTT/UEC  Tokyo).  It  also   offers  40  scientific  and  industrial
  presentations  in three  parallel tracks,  as well  as an  exhibition
  space with hands-on demos of current technology. A separate tutorials
  and  workshops program  on  Wednesday (26th)  allows participants  to
  choose from the following topics:
