Call for Participation: NordiCHI 2012, Tutorials

Deadlines

  * Submission deadline: May 25, 2012
  * Notification of acceptance: June 15, 2012

Tutorials offer participants the opportunity to extend their knowledge into new areas of expertise, to explore new communities of practice and to learn about specific concepts, methods and techniques from recognised experts. Tutorials are held the day before the start of the conference and can be full or half-day in length. NordiCHI 2012 invites tutorials focusing on new and emerging areas, methods and technologies or experimenting with new forms of instruction and innovative perspectives in an HCI context. For a sample of tutorial topics from the last conference, please look at the NordiCHI 2010 Tutorial Schedule (http://www.yourhost.is/en/nordichi-2010/tutorial-schedule.html).

Proposals for full or half-day tutorials should limit the description to 1500 words (although we encourage brevity)
and should detail:

(1)Title and duration;
(2)Intended audience;
(3)Theme and goals;
(4)Description of activities planned;
(5)Prior experiences and evaluations of the tutorial;
(6)Needed facilities;
(7)Organisers' names and backgrounds.
