Workshop on the Evaluation of Creativity Support Tools

Application Deadline: June 27, 2008

Workshop Website: http://hci.sis.uncc.edu:8080/ECSTATIC/

This is a call for participation in the "Evaluation of Creativity Support
Tools" workshop to be held on September 5, 2008, at the British Computing
Society's HCI 2008 Conference in Liverpool, UK.

In this workshop, we will focus on the problem of evaluating creativity
support tools. Specifically, we will collaboratively identify best
practices, enumerate unmet needs, and develop desiderata for techniques
catering to the evaluation of creativity support tools. The expected
outcomes of this workshop are "sketches" of new evaluation instruments
specifically designed to assess and analyze creativity support tools.

If you would like to participate, please submit a 2 page position statement
to Celine Latulipe ([log in to unmask]) by June 27. This statement should
briefly describe your recent research in the area of creativity support
tools and include a description of the evaluation method(s) employed for the
work. The statement should also indicate what types of evaluation
instruments you are most interested in seeing developed in the future
(empirical, heuristic, qualitative, etc.) and why.

For more information, including a schedule of the workshop, please visit:

Please feel free to forward this announcement to others you know who may be
interested in this topic.

Regards,

Celine Latulipe & Michael Terry
