Call for Papers
The Computers in Human Behavior seeks original manuscripts for the Special
Issue on &#8220;Social and Humanistic Computing for the Knowledge Society&#8221;
scheduled to appear in a 2009 issue. The accepted articles must be presented
in the 1st World Summit on the Knowledge Society:

Twelve articles will be selected for publication in this CHB special issue.
The key objective of the special issue is to advancing the knowledge on the
so called social and humanistic computing or social informatics, in simple
words the application of information technologies and mutlidisciplinary
research towards a new era of social interactions and human experiences with
computers. 

This special issue aims at leading multidisciplinary research and practice
on the critical themes of the human and society. With the main emphasis
placed on the demonstration of innovations and new approaches to the
deployment of information and communication for human-centric and
society-sensitive systems, this special issue actively promotes a dialogue
for developing a better world.
