It may be worth pointing out that in the design of XForms (the replacement  
for HTML Forms), we dropped the 'reset' button from the available controls  
simply because hardly anyone ever uses them, the reset button is often  
larger than the 'OK' button, and browsers don't support undo.

The functionality to do reset is still there, but deliberately hard to use.

People who are designing forms-based applications, especially intranet  
applications (where you have control over the software being used), may  
want to have a look at XForms, since its main design aim was to improve  
the user experience.
