Interaction Design Student Contest

THE DESIGN OF LIQUID PLACES.

Participation in the HCIEd 2008 Student Interaction Design Contest is free
and it is open to bachelor, master and PHd level students.

The contest aims not only to select the best design proposals stimulated
by the design brief of the contest, but also to identify the best design
proposals resulting from the use of best practices, methods, tools and
process within a collaborative international and cross-cultural
environment.

A selected number of students will be invited to Rome where they will have
the opportunity to attend HCIEd 2008 for free, present their results and
have a description of their project published in the conference
pre-proceedings. Students will however be expected to pay their own travel
and subsistence costs, although some grants maybe available.

The applicants will be admitted to the on-line learning environment LIFE
where they will found the design brief of the contest.
Throughout the duration of the contest the students will be assisted by
expert tutors.
