CFP: Panel submissions for CSCW 2011
Deadline: October 1, 2010

Panels are a great way of generating debate and raise new and
interesting issues at CSCW. With panels we are aiming to provide a
forum for discussing provocative, controversial, innovative, and
emerging issues. The best panels are structured as debates and
provide opportunities for audience participation. We especially
encourage panels that reflect the CSCW 2011 theme of "Building
Bridges" by addressing topics of global interest and/or by selecting
an international group of panelists. While paper sessions provide
detailed discussions of work recently completed, panels provide an
opportunity to explore what is on the horizon - or what is already
here but not adequately recognized, acknowledged or discussed.

Panel proposals should be no longer than 4 pages and should include
the panel topic, the names of the panelists, one paragraph
biographical sketches describing each panelist's expertise and the
proposed structure and format of the panel. More details on the
submission process can be found at:

Proposal abstracts will be included in the non-archival section of
the CSCW 2011 electronic proceedings. Submissions should use the
extended abstract format

Panel submissions should be e-mailed to the Panels Co-chairs at
[log in to unmask] All panel submissions are due by 5:00 p.m.
(17:00) Pacific Daylight Time on Oct. 1, 2010.
