Extended submission deadline: Friday June 26th 2009; Notification of
authors: July 1st 2009; Last day for early registration: July 17th 2009

This is your chance to present and discuss your work at the European
Computer Supported Cooperative Work community!
http://ecscw09.org/

Posters, videos and demonstrations abstracts will be published in a
Conference Supplement that will be circulated to attendees at
registration, as well as on the web. Abstracts will not be incorporated
into the main ECSCW 2009 Conference Proceedings.
-------------
Posters
-------------
ECSCW 2009 includes a poster category for late-breaking and preliminary
results, smaller results not suitable for a full paper, innovative ideas
not yet validated through full user studies, early student research,
fields work, and other research best presented in an interactive forum.
Posters will be on display for the duration of the conference.
Furthermore, posters will have advertised mini-sessions during the breaks
and welcome reception where the focus will be on a given list of poster
presentations. During the scheduled timeslot, one of the authors is
expected to be at the poster for informal discussions with conference
attendees.

Poster abstracts (2 pages in template, see http://ecscw09.org/) should be
submitted no later than June 26th 2009 and will be published on the web.

Poster Chairs:
Pernille Bjørn, IT University of Copenhagen, Denmark
Carl Gutwin, University of Saskatchewan, Canada
-----------------
Demos and Videos
-----------------
Live demonstrations and videos should illustrate original collaborative
systems and applications; innovative ideas and concepts. Demonstrations
and videos of both research prototypes and commercial products are
welcomed. Demonstrations should be interactive and provide attendees a
hands-on experience.

Both demo and video submissions should include an abstract of no longer
than 2 pages (in template, see http://ecscw09.org/). The abstract should
state the contribution and originality of the work clearly and explicitly.
Accepted submissions will be selected based on their technical content,
interest and relevance to the ECSCW community.

Video submissions should provide, as an attachment, the video file. Demo
submissions should provide, as an attachment, the required technical
equipment. (NOTE: Local technical support for live demonstrations will be
limited, so demonstrations need to be self-supporting.)

Successful demonstrations and videos will have a specific timeslot during
the technical program of the ECSCW09 conference. At least one of the
authors of both interactive demos and videos is expected to attend to the
conference.

Chair of Demos and Videos
Alessandra Agostini, Universita' di Milano-Bicocca, Italy
Valérie Maquil, Vienna University of Technology, Austria
