Papers are being solicited on all aspects of multimodal haptic audio visual virtual
environment technologies and related haptic applications, including Haptic sensors and
renderers, Hapto-audio-visual systems and applications, Hapto-surgical/medical systems,
Haptic compression and prediction, multimodal perception and psychophysics, Haptic game
interfaces, tele-haptics and tele-operation, augmented and virtualized reality, collaborative
virtual environments, human-computer interaction in virtual environments, multi-sensor data
fusion, object modeling, soft computing techniques, RTIs and related APIs.

Deadline for extended abstract or draft paper submission: 15 June 2010

Submit your paper electronically using the web submission form available at:
http://have.ieee-ims.org/have/2010/author-instructions. Extended abstracts can be 3-6
pages (typically 3-4 pages), while the final version of the paper, if accepted, must be 4-6
pages Acceptance/rejection decisions will be emailed by August 1, 2010. The final
manuscript is due September 15, 2010.

Special Issue in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement
A Special Issue on HAVE 2010 will be published in IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation
and Measurement. All accepted papers that are registered and presented in the symposium
proceedings are eligible to submit an extended version to the special issue. Please see the
