June 20-24, 2010 - Waikoloa, Hawaii (USA)
http://www.hawaii.edu/UMAP2010/
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UMAP is the premier international conference for researchers and
practitioners working on systems that adapt to their individual users,
or to groups of users, and collect and represent information about users
for this purpose.
The conference spans a wide scope of topics related to user modeling and
personalization, including tailoring of search results, recommending
products, Web usage mining and collaborative filtering.
In recent years, user modeling, adaptation, and personalization
technologies have increasingly moved from the realm of research into
industrial and governmental applications. Consequently, UMAP 2010
features an industry track and an industry panel. Keynote speakers are
Edward Chang (Google) and Stacy Marsella (University of Southern
California).
The conference will start in a little more than a week. Register now and
join us at UMAP 2010 in Waikaloa, Hawaii.
