I agree that so-called Book Title Capitalization (BTC) can be difficult to
read for the long title of books.  BTC is an American English standard, but
not necessarily standard in other English speaking countries such as the UK,
Australia or New Zealand.  In these countries it is common to write the
titles of books in bibliographies with only the first word in capitals
(proper nouns excepted), in order to improve legibility.

I disagree that because BTC is problem for the title of books, it is
therefore a problem for menu labels.  Book titles can contain many words,
while menu labels ideally contain few words.  If a menu item contains only
two of three words, capitalizing each should not affect reading speed,
legibility or comprehension.
