[Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this survey invitation, it has been posted to several relevant mailing lists. Please redistribute within your own group or among colleagues and students, thank you!]

Hi,

Would it be possible to forward the message below to your mailing list? It's an invitation to an online survey as part of my job at Politecnico di Torino, Italy?

Best regards,

Luigi De Russis

Is your home going green?

Think of a screen in your home showing how you are using electric power. How do you want it to be? What information would you like to see and what do you think is important for improving your "green" behavior?

We are investigating how consumption information can be exposed to home users and what information is easier to convey while preserving the ability to push home inhabitants towards a greener behavior. In this context we are conducting a comparative survey in which two energy visualizations (meters) are involved, each focusing on different aspects of electric consumption in the home. Although similar in appearance, the two visualizations exploit different information and have impact on different perceptions of energy consumption in the home.

If you are willing to leave a positive footprint on the Earth preservation path, if you are worried about your increasing energy consumption, if you just want to know if you can save money by changing your consumption behaviors, help us understanding your needs by compiling this on-line survey.

Don't worry; it is completely anonymous and it is rather short and easy to fill. You can estimate the total survey duration around 20 min. Please donate a bit of your time to help us increasing the chances of homes to be greener!

Thank you very much,
The e-Lite Research group
