The 11th International Working Conference on Advanced Visual Interfaces
(AVI2012)
will be held in the island of Capri (Naples), Italy, May 21-25, 2012.
Submission of
poster and system papers/demo is now open; the submission deadline
(extended) is
March 19, 2012. The Proceedings will be published by ACM.

SUBMISSIONS

Two types of submissions are still open:

- Interactive posters including late-breaking and preliminary results,
smaller
results not suitable for a full or short paper, innovative ideas not yet
validated
through user studies, early PhD student research, and other research best
presented
in an interactive forum. Submissions should include an extended abstract
no longer
than 4 pages (including all figures and references) in the ACM SIG
Proceedings
format.

- System papers (demo), including demonstrations of prototypes, up to 2
pages in the
ACM conference format. System papers will be accompanied by a
demonstration of the
software prototype, and should include a description of the hw/sw
requirements on a
separate sheet.

Papers in PDF format and possible supporting materials (e.g. videos, excel
files,
etc.) should be uploaded in electronic format in the on line conference
management
system by March 19, 2012, midnight Pacific Time. The review process will
be double-blind. So, the authors are required to remove any reference that

ACM. At least
one author is required to attend the conference in order to present the
paper.
