Precall M4D2012, Ghaziabad, India, 28-29th February 2012

This is a precall for the 3 rd International Conference on Mobile Technology
for Development (M4D) that will take place in Ghaziabad, India, 28-29th
February 2012.

Following the conferences in Karlstad (2008) and Kampala (2010) IMS School
of Management Studies (Ghazibad, India) in co-operation with HumanIT
(Karlstad University, Sweden) will organize the 3rd International Conference
on Mobile Technology for Development, M4D2012.

The M4D conference is a unique opportunity for practioners, researchers,
development agencies and NGO workers to convene, discuss and socialize. As
in previous M4D conferences there will be a possibility for both
research-oriented as well as practioner-oriented contributions (papers and
posters). M4D2012 will be one of the most exiting events of 2012 so mark
these dates in your calendar al ready now!

Ghaziabad is located approximately 20 km outside Dehli and 40 km from the
Indira Gandhi International Airport (2 hours by car). IMS will be able to
provide for free accommodation for researchers, graduate and post-graduate
students coming from developing countries. IMS will arrange both a low cost
guest-house option as well as a luxury hotel in Ghaziabad. HumanIT will be
able to sponsor travels and conference fees for some researchers, graduate
and post-graduate students coming from developing countries. More
information will follow.

There will be possibilities to organize pre-conference activities. Please
contact Conference Chair Dr. Vikas Kumar ([log in to unmask]) for
more details. IMS Ghaziabad will organize post-conference excursions to
interesting locations in the Dehli area.

A conference webpage is currently under construction and will be up in early
march

As soon as the website is ready and all the details of paper deadlines,
conference fees and keynote speakers are on place, a more substantial call
for papers will be sent out.
