Dear all!

The ACM International Conference on Interactive Tabletops and Surfaces
2009 Early Registration Deadline in Approaching!

ITS 2009 (www.its2009.org) is a premier venue for presenting research
in the design and use of new and emerging tabletop and interactive
surface technologies. Held this year in Banff, Alberta, Canada, ITS
embraces the growth in areas such as hardware and software
innovations, multitouch interaction design, and studies of ITS
technologies and of their applications in modern society. ITS 2009
will bring together top researchers and practitioners who are
interested in both the technical and human aspects of interactive
tabletop and surface technologies. Registration is open and early
registration offers substantial savings. You can register at
https://www.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/conference/its/

ITS started in 2006 as a workshop and has grown exponentially each
year with the emergence of multitouch technology in people's everyday
lives. The conference has prepared a short video that highlights some
of the research from last year's conference as is accessible from our
home page at www.its2009.org

ITS 2009 is excited to announce new forums to its technical program,
including invited Tutorials, multitouch application design
competition, and Interactive Posters. Bill Buxton, Principal
Researcher at Microsoft Research and Ken Perlin, Director of the NYU
Games for Learning Institute and Chia Shen, Director of the SDR Lab at
the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University
will be speaking at ITS 2009.

ITS 2009 is sponsored by ACM, SIGCHI, Microsoft Surface, SMART
Technologies, iCore, The University of Calgary, Microsoft Research,
and Wacom.

See you all in Banff!
Johannes
