We invite you to participate in the ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality
Software and Technology (VRST) 2009 in Kyoto, Japan.

The ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST) is
an international forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge
among researchers and developers concerned with virtual reality
software and technology. This year, VRST 2009 is co-sponsored by ACM
and the Virtual Reality Society of Japan (VRSJ). VRST 2009 will
provide an opportunity for VR researchers to interact, share new
results, show live demonstrations of their work, and discuss emerging
directions for the field.

Demos and Posters due: July 29, 2009
Conference dates: November 18-20, 2009


== Call for Demos/Posters ==

ACM VRST 2009 seeks original, unpublished demonstrations and posters
attracting all participants of VRST2009 with novel applications, from
all areas of virtual, mixed and augmented reality.  Submissions will
be lightly reviewed by program committee and accepted manuscripts
will be included in the conference proceedings.

* For Demos
A manuscript for a demonstration submission should be a one-page PDF
in the ACM SIGGRAPH format (
http://www.siggraph.org/publications/instructions.) Demos require
submitting a supplement documentation which explains how your demo
works with illustrations or photos. It also should include the
technical requirements such as space, power, networking, lighting and
list of equipments you will bring. Your manuscript and supplement
documentation should be directly emailed to the VRST2009 Demo Chairs:

* For Posters
A manuscript for a poster submission should be a two-page PDF in the
ACM SIGGRAPH format (
http://www.siggraph.org/publications/instructions.) Your manuscript
should be directly emailed to the VRST2009 Poster Chairs:

== Conference Location ==

VRST 2009 will be held in Kyoto, Japan. Kyoto is a world-renowned city
for being the ancient capital of Japan with numerous cultural
heritages. Located just two-minute walk distance from JR Kyoto
station, the conference venue, Mielparque Kyoto, is convenient for
business trips and tourism.
