August 24, 2010: Paper submissions
October 12, 2010: Author notification
November 02, 2010: Camera-Ready Copy
The themes Multimedia and Visualization are concerned with principles, tools and processes that improve our ability to understand, create, manage, visualize and maintain multimedia in general and interactive media in particular. The aim of this track is to bring together researchers from academia and industry who are actively engaged both in theoretical and practical aspects of these multidisciplinary themes, including those interested in discussing issues relative to human-media interaction.
Authors are invited to submit papers which will be evaluated in terms of: originality and technical content and accuracy, significance of the work, appropriateness for the ACM SAC MMV track, presentation (organization, style and clarity).
*MTAP Journal Special Issue*
The Multimedia Tools and Applications Journal (MTAP) will publish a special issue with papers from the ACM SAC'11 MMV track: authors of the best papers will be invited to submit a substantially extended version for their work to the special issue.

The author(s) name(s) and address(es) must NOT appear in the body of the paper, and self-reference should be in the third person. This is to facilitate double blind review.
