Heuristic evaluation of a Web site will be a future topic
of my Usability Matters column at Web Review. I may devote
one article to describing an actual heuristic evaluation in
detail so readers get an idea of what goes on.
I have a few sites in mind (ie clients) for the evaluation,
but if you have something you want to "nominate", please let
me know. It could be your site, or a competitors, or your
favorite, or your least favorite. I would favor a site where the
developers are keen to the review, might actually participate,
and would consider acting on the results. Not too big and not
too small. Something a little obscure might be more interesting
than one of the more popular sites.
Also looking for volunteer evaluators, if you want to take
part.
Send me email.
