Hi - I would like to add more detail to the posting I sent you earlier this
morning. Would you please send out this version?

*********

Hi - I am looking for an online learning technology that does a good job of
incorporating Web 2,0 features and AJAX technologies. Can anyone on the list
suggest some products they have used?

Here is some detail:
The project is a redesign of an online learning environment for adult
professionals. They will use the site to take continuing education courses.
I'm interested in educationally-oriented products that offer a content
management system, the ability to share bookmarks, reviews, links to video,
audio, and other enduring materials that are part of the course, ability to
upload media, and collaborative features such as online bulletin boards and
maybe blogging.

The only product I am aware of that offers these features is Blackboard,
which I use for courses I teach but I hate this product!!! It is kludgey and
so much work to do very simple everyday tasks. However, the type of product
I am seeking would offer the same facilities as Blackboard, but be updated
to include the "web 2.0" stuff mentioned above, be useable, and reliable.

Thanks -

Kay
