Now that there is no restriction on course registration, why not
consider attending my course:
<http://chi2012.acm.org/program/desktop/courses.html>Selecting UCD
Methods that Maximize Benefits and Minimize Project Risks
The course will explain how to select the most appropriate UCD
methods, in order to optimize usability of the system that you are
developing, and to minimize any risks of project failure.
It is based on a comprehensive model of good practice in UCD derived
from an ISO standard that I helped work on. The viability of the
approach will be demonstrated with an online tool that supports
selection of methods.
The course is at 2:30pm on May 10th, and all it costs is $25 for the
notes. But to be sure of a place, you need to

your CHI Registration now!
I am interested to get feedback on the approach so please feel free
to contact me if you would like any more information (even if you
can't attend the course!).
Cheers .. Nigel
