Hello - Thanks to the people who responded to my request yesterday for a
consultant who has worked with 508 compliance as it relates to the elderly
population. I have forwarded your messages to my friend who has this need.

Here are the referrals folks sent:

Hi Kay,

PJ Gardner does, or at least know who does.

Hi Kay,

The work that Dana Chisnell did for AARP became the basis of the Web Content
Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0). You can reach her at Usability works -

nobody more knowledgeable on what it takes to make a great site for aging
adults. She's who we turn to.

Hi Kay - I have worked on these kind of projects. I head a Center of
Excellence User Experience team as my regular work. I am also a certified
usability analyst (CUA). I would be glad to provide any details,

Thanks

Hi Kay-

I am a usability consultant with experience providing Section 508 consulting
for corporations. I help Kodak with all of their Section 508 compliance and
have also provided support for Dell through another agency.
Usually Section 508 compliance does not focus on any specific group. Perhaps
you could give me a better idea of what specific issues you are trying to
cover. If you want to talk live, please give me a call at my office
(585.671.1324).

Thanks,
Mike Gerard

Contact Sharron Rush at Knowlbility in Austin. She's one of the premiere
consultants in Accessibility and I'm sure that she'll know someone who has
expertise in working with the elderly.

Tell Sharron that I recommended her.
