** CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

UX/IA/HCI 2012 -- HCI & Information Architecture Conference/Summit
18-20 April 2012, Warsaw (Poland)
http://www.polishiasummit.com

** CONFERENCE AIM AND SCOPE

The UX/IA/HCI Conference/Summit is the premier conference on
human-computer interaction organized in Central Europe, addressed to
both researchers and practitioners. We want to focus on User Experience
(UX), which drives the HCI field now and will probably remain the key
theme in the future.

This UX/IA/HCI Conference/Summit is an unique opportunity to meet in one
place researchers and practitioners working in various areas of
professional interaction design, in various institutions ranging from IT
systems and e-services development to interactive games and interactive
media design for business, advertisement or entertainment.

The conference will have two main tracks covering (1) scientific and (2)
practical aspects of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Information
Architecture (IA).
Additional tutorials and Human Motion Analysis (HMA) workshop will be
also included into conference program.

Major interest areas of the conference include INTERACTION DESIGN,
STRATEGY and RESEARCH.
All relevant contributions are welcome, especially addressing topics
such as:
-- User interface design, interaction design, usability, accessibility,
-- User Experience, Customer Experience, Service Design,
-- understanding people and interactions: theory, concepts and methods,
-- expanding novel forms of interaction through technology, systems and
tools,
-- interactive multimedia and multimodal interfaces,
-- unfolding trends in HCI research and practice,
-- application, critique and evolution of methods, processes, theories
and tools,
-- teamwork, management and strategy in research and design organizations,
-- HCI in education, training and knowledge sharing,
-- last-minute reports, pilot studies presenting work-in-progress and
latest projects.

By presenting, discussing, and reporting innovative research and ideas,
the conference participants will explore these areas with the aim of
developing knowledge, establishing personal contacts and enhancing the
cross-relationships between scientific activities and design developments.
