FIVE Scholarships for ECCE2014
A competition for Young PhD researchers from Easter Europe

The European Association of Cognitive Ergonomics (www.EACE.net<http://www.EACE.net>) announces an additional call for its annual European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics 2014 (http://ecce2014.eace.net/), specifically targeted towards a Young Generation of PhD-researchers from Eastern Europe. This means that the European Association of Cognitive Ergonomics (EACE) will provide a maximum of five scholarships, each worth of the ECCE2014 conference fee & 500 EURO's (for travel, endurance, hotels, food, etc).

The best five are awarded, provisionary that each achieves a good level of academic excellence. We look forward from contributions that fit the 'Young Researcher Networking Event Contributions' (see http://ecce14.ce.jku.at/?page_id=43)

Criteria, Practicalities and Rules:
-A young PhD-researcher qualifies as being below 30, working on a PhD (letter of supervisor obligatory), originating and studying in East Europe and being active in the field of Cognitive Ergonomics (or related field)
-Candidates should write a Young Researcher Networking Event Contributions before the 1st of May (by e-mailing [log in to unmask])
-Upon receipt, a quick review round will be initiated by a selection of ECCE2014 reviewers & the EACE board guaranteeing 3 peer-reviews (within two to three weeks)
-camera ready: 15th of June
-Best five get awarded the scholarship (provisionary that each achieves a good level of academic excellence)
-Once accepted, they require being present at the whole ECCE2014 conference and participate actively
-And candidates are expected to promote future ECCE conferences

The board of the European Association on Cognitive Ergonomics looks forward to a large number of contributions.
