Dear CHI Community,

Apologies for cross-listing!

Call for Student Volunteers!

We are currently seeking student volunteers to help organize ACM's 4th International Conference on Intercultural Collaboration 2012 at Bangalore, India March 21-23, 2012 .

The application deadline for being a Student Volunteer is approaching: December 10th 2011. Much like the previous conferences, the success of this conference would depend on the efforts of the volunteers.

ICIC 2012 incorporates both socio-cultural and socio-technical perspectives, with the objective of creating multidisciplinary dialogue and progress in this important field. Topics include collaboration support (such as natural language processing, Web, and Internet technologies), social scientific analyses of intercultural interaction, and case studies that increase mutual understanding and learning in our multicultural world.

In return for help at the conference, student volunteers receive a number of benefits including:

 * 4-nights hotel stay with complimentary breakfast
 *   Free conference registration
 *   A cool t-shirt
