TOPIC:
In this workshop we want to discuss how persuasive technologies can be designed for and evaluated in challenging contexts.
By challenging contexts we mean environments such as cars, factories, public spaces, hospitals etc.
In the workshop we want to discuss the specific characteristics of these contexts and how these very specific context ingredients influence the design and evaluation of persuasive technologies.
PARTICIPATION:
We invite academics and practitioners to discuss with us their experiences including the following (non exhaustive) list of topics:
* Case studies of persuasive technologies in very challenging context
* Field or lab studies of persuasive technologies in challenging context
* Design concepts of persuasive technologies designed for challenging context
* Implementations of of persuasive technologies in challenging context
* Methods to investigate challenging contexts
* Methods to evaluate persuasive technologies in challenging context
* Theoretical reflections on persuasive technologies in challenging context
SUBMISSION:
Workshop candidates are requested to submit a position paper (max. 1 page) via email by March 20th, 2014.
The papers will be reviewed by the organizers and selected according to their significance for the workshop topic as well as their potential to inspire discussions.
All accepted position papers will be made available on the website.
