SIGCHI seeks nominations for its five major annual awards. All
nominations are due by November 5, 2012.

SIGCHI identifies and honors leaders and shapers of the field of
human-computer interaction with the SIGCHI Awards. We recognize
individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the field of
human-computer interaction. There are five kinds of SIGCHI Awards: the
CHI Lifetime Research Award, the CHI Lifetime Practice Award, election
to the CHI Academy, the CHI Social Impact Award, and the CHI Lifetime
Service Award.

The SIGCHI Achievement Awards committee, chaired by Saul Greenberg
(CHI Academy Member), selects the recipients of the CHI Lifetime
Research and Lifetime Practice Awards and elects individuals to the
CHI Academy. The SIGCHI Service Award committee, chaired by Loren
Terveen (SIGCHI Adjunct VP for Awards), selects the recipients of the
CHI Social Impact Award and the CHI Lifetime Service Award. We
encourage you to consult the SIGCHI Awards web page
(http://www.sigchi.org/about/awards) for lists of past awardees and
more detailed award descriptions.
