The Institute for Geoinformatics (ifgi) at the University of Münster, Germany, is currently offering two DAAD-funded PhD scholarships in the context of the Graduate School for Geoinformatics.  The scholarships include:

	- a monthly stipend of 1,000 Euro
	- a country-dependent lump sum for travel costs
	- an insurance package (health, accidents, liability)
	- research allowance of 460 Euro per year
	- if applicable, support of accommodation costs and family needs
	- if applicable, a German language course (the programme itself is taught in English)

There are no tuition fees except for a nominal contribution to the student union (includes public transport pass) of about 200 Euro per semester. More information about the topics offered, the application procedure and the Graduate School can be found at this address:
