* Important dates:
February 14, 2013: Submission of workshop papers (2-pages for IEEE proceedings)
February 20, 2013: Notifications of acceptance
March 15, 2013 : Authors’ registration deadline
April 15, 2013: Final camera-ready manuscript and IEEE Copyright Form submission


* Introduction:
Learning Analytics is all about analysis and utilization of learning patterns in various yet related levels of granularity. Technologies now exist to track the study processes learners undertake to achieve their learning goals and outcomes, particularly in online learning environments.
 
The International Workshop on Learning Analytics will offer participants opportunity to discuss various conceptual issues emerging in the research and effective implementation of learning analytics, sharing of hands-on experiences, and looking at the vision(s) for the future.
 
The workshop will cover discussions related to learning analytics techniques and tools in various domain. Use cases of learning analytics in blended-online learning environments are also welcome. The workshop would also engage participants to discuss the impact of learning analytics in promoting the quality of instruction on a global scale.
 
 
Submissions:
 
Submissions must report original, unpublished research. We welcome rigorous research studies, case studies, best practices, and evidence based vision articles.
 
** Authors of the accepted papers will be invited to submit extended versions of their papers for possible inclusion in a post-workshop book.
