now open. You can register online at

Persuasive Technology is a stimulating interdisciplinary research field
that focuses on how interactive technologies and services can be designed
to influence people’s attitudes and support positive behavior change. The
8th International Conference on Persuasive Technology will feature the
latest insights into how mobile and internet-based applications such as
mobile games and social networking sites can be designed to support
positive behaviors changes in areas such as health, safety, and education.
Persuasive-2013 will build on the success of previous conferences held in
Linköping, Columbus, Claremont, Copenhagen, Oulu, Stanford, and Eindhoven.
Academics, students, and practitioners interested in theory, technologies,
design, and applications related to persuasion are invited to submit their
works for presentation at the Conference. The three day program centres
around three workshops, a jam packed technical program, international
keynote speakers and a host of social events.

Sydney is the largest city in Australia and the capital of New South Wales.
Sydney is located on Australia's south-east coast and built on hills
surrounding Sydney Harbour, where the iconic Opera House and Harbour Bridge
are featured. The metropolitan area is surrounded by national parks, and
the coastal regions feature many bays, rivers, inlets, and beaches. Within
the city are many notable parks, including Hyde Park and the Royal
Botanical Gardens.
