BIZPLAY 2013: “Just Go Out And Play!“ – Playful Solutions for Organisational and Marketing Challenges – www.bizplay.org

Having launched in 2012, this year bizplay aka Business Play kicks off its second international Enterprise Gamification Symposium & Workshop in Karlsruhe, Germany on 1 & 2 October 2013, and will be hosted by RMIT University's European branch of the Games and Experimental Entertainment Lab (GEElab), together with local partners K³ – Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaftsbüro Karlsruhe, and CyberForum.

Pioneers of gameful branding and B2C servicing, DDB Worldwide's CCO, Amir Kassaei (New York, USA), and Rabobank's Gamification Hub Manager, Maarten Molenaar (Utrecht, NL), will be delivering Keynote Addresses, and lead the line up of presenters addressing gamification in the areas of advertising, mobility, finance, health, TV programming, and organizational challenges.

The two-day symposium & workshop event program features talks on Day One, and workshops on Day One and Day Two to problem-solve business issues by the way of game play and with the help of game elements. Participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge, network and conceive of solutions throughout the symposium, and in particular, during our parallel-track workshops:

	• Gameful Enterprise Innovation - Lead: Marigo Raftopoulos, GEElab Australia & Enterprise Gamification Consulting
	• Gameful Urban Mobility - Lead: Dominik Stampfl, Audi AG & GEElab Europe
	• Gameful Health & Quantified Self - Lead: Sven Krome, GEElab Europe
	• Gameful TV & Transmedia - Lead: Oliver Passek, Ministry for Science, Research and Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg & ZDF Television Board

For the first time, a new workshop “bizplay for starters” will focus on gamification opportunities for new start-up businesses; the workshop will be led by Roman Rackwitz (International Gamification Confederation, gamfed.com). Young entrepreneurs are invited to participate in an Online contest to win one of 20 workshop tickets, cf.http://bizplay-contest2013.das-onlinespiel.de.

Day One of bizplay will culminate in a Gameful Networking Party which is open to anyone interested in attending. To take advantage of early bird tickets (available until the end of July 2013) and to register, go to www.bizplay.org.

bizplay 2013 is supported by the smart businessIT Initiative Excellence for BW, the KMK Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress-GmbH, MMK Good Relations PR and kr3m. media GmbH. Our media partner is GamesMarkt.de.
